Howdy! It’s your girl Abbey! I like playing video games and making new friends. I used to live in the Japanese countryside teaching English and sass, but now I’m back in the US living my dream as a chicken mama to 10 goofy birds! I decided to blog again because I needed a break from the mental onslaught of daily social media usage. I also traded my iPhone for a flip phone for maximum “slocial” effect – I can still stay in touch with everyone, just without the ads and constant anxiety. A slower, easier pace much like a break from life. This is where the ippuku part comes in: it can mean a “dose” or “cup” of tea to enjoy in the tea ceremony world, or it can mean a short break along the lines of a coffee or smoke break. So I hope that reading this blog can bring you some relaxation as writing it does for me. ^-^
