Have you ever had the feeling like you were being watched?
Perhaps being watched while doing your business? In the privacy of your own bathroom?
Me too, reader. Me too.
It’s fall, so that means that the local squirels are chomping down on as many acorns as possible and hiding a ton of caches of those they will eat later.
And that means the return of Poop Squirrel.
I’m not sure if it is the same squirrel each year or even each time. But every year they perch their fluffy butts in the pine trees next to my bathroom window and are peeking. At me. Pooping.
While they are eating.
It’s the circle of life.
I don’t know what is so amusing about humans using the toilet, but some of these guys can’t get enough of it. Any other time of year they scamper at the first sign of movement. But in the fall? They are parked and not moving until they finish their pop(a)corn.
I guess that’s part of what we get for living in the middle of the woods. 🤣
